This talks about the number of goods/products you’re starting with when you acquire Zela, this feature helps you add the quantity alongside the products without recording any expenses since you already have them in stock.

Follow the procedures below to import products and open stock:

there are two ways you can add the opening stock, the first one is below: ( this method deals with importing products and their opening stock)

1. Click on products on the sidebar to the left of your screen, and a drop-down menu appears

2. On the drop-down menu, click on “Import Products”, it takes you to a page where you see “Download Template File” at the upper left corner of the screen

3. Click on “Download Template File” (this is the template that is saved in the format the software will be able to decode)

4. After downloading the Template, Open it on your Excel and fill in the required information

5. When you’re done filling in the necessary information on the Excel spreadsheet, save it and go back to the software

6. Directly above the “Download Template File” button, there’s a button titled “Choose File” Click on it

7. A new window will pop out, locate where your Template file is saved and select it

8. After choosing the file you want to upload, click on “open” on that same window at the lower right corner of the window

9. After clicking on “Open” you should be back to the software, now you’ll click on the “Submit” button. Done! Now your products have been uploaded

The second method (Importing opening stock) #

NOTE: This method will only work when you have existing products

1. Click on products on the sidebar to the left of your screen, and a drop-down menu appears
2. On the drop-down menu, click on “import opening stock”, it takes you to a page where you see “Download Template File” at the upper left corner of the screen
3. Click on “Download Template File” (this is the template that is saved in the format the software will be able to decode)
